An Update from Father Gilberto
In compliance with the Decree from the Archbishop, St. Brigid, along with all the parishes in the San Antonio diocese, will not have weekend Masses through the end of March. By March 31, the Archdiocese will re-evaluate the situation, and will make decisions regarding Weekend Masses.
Here are some key points at St. Brigid:
Weekday Masses: During the week, we will have Daily Mass at 8AM and 12Noon, Monday through Friday, in the main Sanctuary.
Adoration: Perpetual Adoration has been suspended as 7PM on Wednesday, March 18, until further notice. However, the Blessed Sacrament Chapel will be open for private prayer from 6AM to 6PM every day, including Saturday and Sunday.
Confessions: There will be no Saturday confessions. Lenten Confessions will be offered during the week of March 23-27, from 10AM to 11AM and 6PM to 7PM.
Meetings: For the reminder of March (and through April 3 for many of our activities and events based on school closures through April 3) or until otherwise updated, there will be no meetings on St. Brigid premises, including the Faith Formation and Kids’ Day Out programs.
Weekly Bulletin: The weekly bulletin has been suspended. Once Weekend Masses return to their usual schedule, the weekly bulletin will also return.
For any questions or updates, please call the parish office during business hours.
Stay strong and keep us all in your prayers.
