ST. BRIGID LITURGICAL MINISTRY TRAININGS
“Having gifts that differ…let us use them.” Romans 12:6
Our community of St. Brigid Parish reflects God’s presence to the world. Each of us bears a unique reflection of our Father. We are drawn to a special unity with one another by virtue of baptism and sharing in the Eucharistic life. To give in Christ’s name, to give willingly and to do so in response to the needs of the community—this is ministry. The word ‘minister’ means ‘servant’. There is no greater gift to yourself or others than the gift of service. When we give of ourselves with love and make ourselves present to others, we experience a sense of the presence of God within. To serve one another as Christ has shown us by His example is the greatest gift we can offer.
In our parish community, we are truly blessed with a wealth of enthusiasm along with God-given talents and abilities – all generously shared. As you view the list of scheduled trainings below, prayerfully consider sharing the love of Christ through the gift of ministry to our parish community. Remember, what you give away in joyful service to God and His people will come back to you in the blessings of new friendships, experiences, and a closer connection to God.
“As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” 1 Peter 4:10
