Faith Formation Classes
Classes are available for students in Pre-K through 5th Grade. We offer classes for children to learn about the Catholic faith in a classroom model. We use Faith First curriculum, designed for this setting. Class sizes are kept to under 20 kids per every two Catechists (teachers). The curriculum is based on the four pillars of the Catholic Church, and includes scripture. Classes are taught by volunteer co-catechists who have a love of the faith and of children. This one hour class is a great introduction to our faith and a support to the parents. It does not replace the parents' role as the primary educators of the faith.
Parent Time
During all Faith Formation classes, parents are encouraged to grow in their knowledge of the Catholic Faith. Parents are encouraged to stay on site and break open the upcoming Sunday readings. This is a great way to role model for children and to get more out of Mass.

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist
To be eligible for this sacrament program, the child must be 7 years or older. The process includes two years of Faith Formation classes. During the second year, the child will attend sacrament workshops with their parents, in addition to Faith Formation classes. First Reconciliation workshops begin in the Fall each year and is celebrated during Advent. First Eucharist workshops begin in January (for those children who have received First Reconciliation) and celebrated during the Sunday liturgies in the month of May.
Children's Liturgy of the Word
Takes place every Sunday during the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Children start Mass with their families and are dismissed after the opening. Children proceed to the chapel to hear the Word of God proclaimed at their level. A short Homily will also be given and petitions made, then the children return to mass. This program is offered to help children learn and appreciate Mass more fully. Children can attend as early as 3 years old and remain until they make their First Eucharist.
