In 1935, St. Faustina received a vision of an angel sent by God to chastise a certain city. She began to pray for mercy but her prayers were powerless. Until she saw the Holy Trinity and felt the power of Jesus' grace within her. Prayed on ordinary rosary beads, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy is an intercessory prayer. The Divine Mercy Ministry meets on Thursday evenings, please contact Loreta Young for more information about this ministry at (210)558-4326.
The Rosary familiarizes the hearts and minds of the faithful with the Mysteries of Christ. There is also a group that comes together in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. to pray for vocations to the priesthood and an end to abortion.
